<Non-Pony><Original><Instrumental> "Makayla"

A song written for and named after my girlfriend, Makayla. Heavily based upon SRV's song Lenny, but somehow this all came out sounding much different than that. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have to say this was very nice to listen to. Your guitar work is very fine. Maybe change the bass line and drums up a bit? Those felt pretty repetitive.

Thanks for the compliment. As far as the drums and bass go though, it was halfway meant to be repetitive, at least so much as to keep attention on the guitar. I probably would mess with it now, but I've already spent waaaaaaaay too much time on the thing as it is (30 hours in about a week...yeesh).

The good news is, it went over very well with her when I sent it. In the future I'll make sure to give the bass (and depending on the song, the drums) some changing.
