okay, so this is a decent enough house song, but the main problem is the progression. where exactly is it progressing? the main purpose of progression is for it to progress, but the thing is, is that at 00:45 and 2:05 the song "cuts," or sort of slows down, but in a progression, the sounds and melodies build up and eventually sync and are in harmony, but the synth at :45 sounds a little off from what the previous harmony was, and because of that it sounds like a totally new song. and the cut at 2:05 seems unnecessary, and because it is a progression, the cuts pretty much take away all the progressive elements and instead add another element that, once eveything cuts, becomes kind of irrelevant because then it sounds like a totally new song. Also, the cut at 2:05 seems like it lasts a little too long and there isn't really any real progression until about 3:00, then at 4:05 it cuts and goes into a sort of "breakdown" feel, but the thing is progressive house doesn't have as emphasized cuts as this does. The cut at :45 is missing a layer of chords all the way to 2:05, and at around 1:30, the added sound makes the lead sound out of harmony, and vise-versa. there doesn't seem to be an established lead throughout the song, just different sounds put together, and it sounds kind of inconsistent.
The beginning of the song was good, and my best advice is to either don't cut out all of your sounds and then bring a totally different one, but to at one point sync all of your sounds into a nice little harmony and then cut the song into a descent and eventual end. Or you can continue the cuts but keep the chords and melody, but add a new lead and with each cut you either keep adding sounds. option one is you can establish your lead, and have all incoming sounds to go along in harmony with it during various points of the song, or, option two, you can add a new lead that is within harmony with the others, which is the more difficult approach because adding new leads that go withing harmony to the chords or pads is pretty hard, let alone making it in harmony with all the other sounds.
don't let my opinions or practical advice deter you, the song itself is decent, and i'm being honest so don't kill me, but just the way it was constructed and with all the sounds and out of harmony synths, it really doesn't sound all that appealing. but with a little time and effort you will succeed in what you are trying to accomplish, just hang in there and keep doing what you love.
