The term, "hidden porn stash," didn't just come out of nowhere. If you follow the r34 community and/or interact with like-minded people, that's perfectly fine. We all have our own little quirks. Just remember that not everybody shares that quirk, and when you start a public tumblr representing you in the music community, people will go to it because they want to follow as a fan of the music you create, not as a fan of whatever happens to turn you on.
When I see Rainbowdutch's tumblr in his signature, I expect to go there and follow him because I want to see news about future projects and/or more information about him. If I wanted to visit a porn site, look up r34, etc, I'd do it myself, but I certainly wouldn't want to click on somebody's tumblr in hopes of following a musician only to find that it's basically their own public porn stash, which kind of defeats the reasoning behind the term above.
Rainbowdutch, this isn't harping on your tumblr btw. Just using it as an example.

Yes, it bothers me that people, very well-known people, are filling their PR outlets with porn, but people are making such a big deal out of it. =/

I don't mind it
however I don't remember ever posting porn on it despite it having a nsfw tag
