I stumbled upon the Goofy Goober beat some time ago and I was immediately entranced (and fucking giddy). I also had the idea to add that Can I Kick It bassline around then. Since I've been back, the idea came to me again, and in an amazing weekend I cut everything together and wrote all my lines.

It's sort of...2000s 90s throwbackish...with a fine coating of 2013 self-awareness...There's lots of jokes in this one, but I pride myself in tight lines so let me know what you think!

I couldn't really find a high quality rip of the main beat...I've been told it's ok if I was looking for a throwback sound (which I wasn't really); I just end up trying to make everything work.
I didn't master because I preferred the sound as it is, but I was struggling to make the vocals sit in a way that I liked...somehow the tone of the mix and the lyrics and everything comes together to create this image that I am more than ok with. Some people are about a sort of objective level of perfection tho so...whatever you think man.
