I've had no free time lately. I need to get back into the swing of making music on a regular basis.

From now on I'm gonna take some time out of every week to finish and upload something. It might not always be my best stuff, but at least I'll keep active.

I really like the use of panning in the intro. It might only be a minute, but it's a minute of awesome.

The reason I called it Cherrychanga Experiment, since people are dying to know, is because the frantic back and forth between the two guitars kinda reminds me of Pinkie Pie saying Chimicherry and Cherrychanga over and over again. :P

That and I ripped off Liquid Tension Experiment.

Yeah, I see that. It's a really cool effect.

My only complaint is that the song isn't the 9-minute length that is idiomatic to the genre.

Nah, this is pretty neato as a sketch sort of thing. I think even in the 1 minute you had here you could have done a little more exploration in the virtuosic side of things. I'm assuming the drums are programmed so you really could have done anything; even though you're sort of spicing things up every few bars, you can still break up the flow for good effect.

Great stuff, love the arrangement which is unlike any metal I've heard before. Has kind of a latin feel, haha. You should come up with some more riffs and throw in some solos, as to unfold this sketch - as Stu described it - into a full song.
oops I dropped the bass

Another reason I use the word experiment is because I forced myself to finish it, rather than try to fit too many ideas into it and never finish it, like I usually do. I played the drums myself on a Roland V-Drums kit. As a drummer I tend not to program drum parts I couldn't play myself. Guitar parts I edit like crazy. I'm not a great guitarist.

I know that feel :C I suck so much, I prefer dual amping to double tracking.

It reminds me a little of Train of Consequence by Megadeth, or some of the Terran music from StarCraft 2. I like it. :)
