YESSS so I finally bought a Sonata Arctica cd I never see them for sale at record stores but this one was like 6 USD I'm so excited they're like my favorite metal band but this is the first CD I have by them (its Silence incase you wondered.)
Also Wolf & Raven is the most amazing display of guitar playing ever. This is why I shall show people when they say heavy metal is dumb.

Alsooooo my cousin is apparently a huge fan of Sonata Arctica which is awesome because now I have someone to fangirl with

Finished day one of two of my final exams for Grade 12.

Wasn't so bad, even got them to supply me with a laptop (with no spellcheck so I couldn't cheat) on the count of my illegible handwriting. (I have Aspergers Syndrome and a pretty common thing with that is motor skill deficiencies like developmental dyspraxia. SO that makes my handwriting hard to read.)

Im basically figuring out everything today. I finally fixed my laptop, i taught myself this thing involving maps that our teacher wouldn't tell us how to do, and I finally opened my jar of LEMON BERRY JELLY I bought at a Polish bakery in the middle of rural texas. ITS THE BEST FREAKING JELLY I HAVE EVER TASTED.

So my parents were telling me that once I finished paying off my german exchange program, I wouldn't be able to afford getting a car until later and that I should prepare for the winter since I can't really bike to work in the winter, but nope.

I had roughly ~$800 in my bank account at the beginning of the summer

-$575 for the monitors
-$140 for the acoustic panels
+roughly $2,700 from work (about $900 a month)
-$1,400 for the rest of my exchange program
$1,385 left over, and I still have about 4 months left over until I can apply to take the tests and get my license.
+and estimated $1,900 from work over those 4 months (about $475 a month)
$3,200+. F*ck yeah. And my parents were concerned I wouldn't be able to afford a car.

Of course, this isn't factoring in that if I do only end up working two days a week at my first job that I may get a second job, which would equal more money.
