What recurring elements do you notice in your music?

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

Lack of structure is one I tend to have a huge problem with, and repetitiveness seems to happen a lot as well.

I do notice that a lot of my music has a lighter tone, even if I try to make it dark, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing.

The 3/4 time signature. I just can't stay away.

Also, pianos and minor keys.
