I'm new here, and still (heavily) learning music, but for future reference: Renoise 2.8, with NI Massive and Synth1 as my main plugins.

I have a bunch more random things, including Ableton Live 8, but they hardly ever get used. It also seems that I am the only Renoise user here that's posted... You guys should totally check it out if you like trackers, or you want a new, feature-rich DAW that costs next to nothing. ($75)
