Well... Getting album art before the deadline might be a good idea.
When is the deadline btw?

And also, I might pull out of this... Don't have much motivation to make jungel right now.

Hey guys, I've made some more progress with my tune for this album. I've yet to pad it up like how people suggested to me earlier (although I think I sorted out the panning issues) but I've introduced a whole new section that's gonna lead back to a re-statement of the initial theme. Any feedback you have would be appreciated :)

HELLO PEOPLE I AM HERE. IM MALLARD I'M REAL
this of course is one of those things that makes me poke my head up out the water. I'm hoping to do a tune for this here fine album, if not, I'm at least gonna handle the lore of it, y'know, giving it all the EqH backstory stuff.

Also, if you need help with your tunes feel free to PM me and get some of that legendary Mallard Puddleduck Feedback™!

It sounds more like Neurofunk than Jungle to me. The bass should just be a pure sine-wave or maybe a Reese, and it should have more of a distinct melody. The drums are sounding good, but perhaps you could chop them up a bit more.

Okay xD I'll have to work on it more. Dubstep is my niche so this is slightly difficult xD lol

Well, I'd say to have a good listen to a load of jungle to get a good feel for it. Feel free to ask for feedback if you want it, too (and that can apply to anyone in this thread, really).

This is really good! You definitely got the amen break and bass right, and the piano and strings both sound very good too. I would put a bit of delay on the piano, though, because it sounds just a little too dry in comparison to everything else in the mix.

The only odd thing I can hear is that "bubbling" sort of synth at the beginning. The sound it makes is awesome, but the rhythm of it somehow doesn't seem to fit the rest of the track. When the amen break comes in to join that synth then the two rhythms really sync up with each other. So if you could just sort out that rhythm problem then you'd have a great track. Good work :)

Yes, deadline is still July 2nd, even though I doubt that there'll be enough submissions xD but this is surely still on.

Okay I'm gonna go off my lazy ass and get someone to do this cover art. None yet.

Okay, everyone that sends in a submission tomorrow stoll has a chance to get on.
Do know that I'm going on a vacation from tomorrow till July 14th, in which I have no internet and no time to work on this. After that period, though, I'm going to rush to geth things done.

It does trouble me that I've only received two submissions yet. Eh, fingers crossed!

Since I'm the EqH boss (SUPPOSEDLY), I'd like to call a couple days extension on this one, if nobody minds!

I'm meant to be supervising the art and writing and stuff anyway, so you'll just have to wait for me <3

EDIT: ADDITIONALLY: I'd like to master everything to make it all sound like vinyl rips. The idea being of course, that this is a compilation CD of EqH's classic old jungle vinyls, ripped from the original 12 inchers for authentic sound! :3

If need be, I can probably do a couple remixes to bulk out the album if there's not enough tracks on it!

Yea sorry the original dubstep album taking so long was partly my fault, the art was meant to be done by my boyfriend and he kinda forgot about it BUT IT WAS KINDA MY RESPONSIBILITY.

Gonna do shit myself this time and git-r-done!

Sounds good. Vinyl cracks rule!

So do I send the final package to you or Nosnibormada?
And do I get it right that you're doing album art?

I don't exactly draw good, so I'll try and have something arranged, but if you know anyone who'd be good for it, that'd be great. What I will do is create original vinyl labels for all of the tracks!

You can send us both the final thing really, but I think I'll be organizing it mostly this time, since I'm doing all the writing and mastering and that. I've got a lot more time at the moment so I don't need Nos to do so much for me like I used to. :)
