That's fucking dispicable.

People hear about this and automatically assume that it's wrong to want to be what you feel you should be or that it's perverse.

I'm sorry you had to go through that Abby.

You have my facebook, if you ever need someone to vent at you can go ahead and do it at me.

I wish you the best of luck with what you're going through, Abbz.
His reaction was completely immature, judging by how you tell your story. The thing is, wondering why such people exist doesn't help one bit. They exist, and most of the time they're too ignorant (especially in your case) and stubborn to be changed. Sad, but true. C'est la vie.

And can someone explain why it matters that Pinnacle Records has been set up by a 13-year old? Does that really matter?

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this, Abby. Glad you've got other friends to talk to about it and sorry someone you trusted turned out to be such an asshole. You're an awesome person and you deserve to be happy and accepted - I hope things get better for you soon. Echoing what the others said, if you need someone to talk to, feel free to drop me a message here or on skype or wherever.

I started hallucinating at college last Wednesday (the scary psychosis kind, not the happy rainbow drugs kind) and ended up screaming in fear and running from the building. None if my classmates are going to stop taking the piss out of me and even the teacher is making snide comments about it.
Everyone is either calling freak or attention whore, and nobody can accept this as an actual condition. ("I once had depression for a couple of weeks and I didn't even make a fuss about that! Grow up!")

Coupled with my already pretty bad paranoia and I never want to go back to college again. This may have ruined my education.

And ACSII, as well as the other guys, you can always talk to me if you ever need to (I'm on Skype almost constantly because no life) :3

I kinda worry for my mental clarity at times too.

I've had my episodes.

I once woke up to find that one of my eyes was blurry and the other had severe tunnel vision, my head was light and I was generally unable to think about anything without being confused about it. Some other stuff happened too, but in short I ended up wandering away from home before regaining clarity and realizing where I was.

Another time I got stressed the fuck out by moving, assignments, creative block etc and I ended up pacing about my house muttering incoherently about eveything. I kinda ended up getting riled up like I was gonna kill something and sorta screamed it out. Regained clarity after that. Still wasn't a pleasent experience.

wow I'm sorry I never knew a problem that can ruin a friendship. It sounds like more of a I just don't know you anymore thing. I went trough that before but never for your... whatever it is? I had a friend who kept a major secret from me something that made me see her differently and I'm still kinda worried about it today we both got into an argument and we didn't talk for a week but within a month we were closer that we were before. I released that it was still the friend I knew. keep being you I'm and he may accept that its still you whenever his mind comprehends it. good luck i hope things turns out well for you.

*hugs everyone*
*hugs ACSII again*

Ok, now for my monthly first world problem rant:
My fucking intro to electronic music class. Mostly I took it because it came paired with a beginning guitar class (both 1 semester classes), but my teacher is a massive dick. First off, we didn't even start making music until two months ago (read: about halfway through the fucking course. The first few months were spent learning how to functionally use a keyboard, a skill which we have not used since). We started with Audacity, which is fine and dandy. Then, we move on to Finale. Finale. A notation program.

And we started doing blues.

Fucking 12 bar blues, in an electronic music class. And that's not even the worst thing. The worst fucking thing? We just started using Garage Band, which is bad enough in itself, but we have to compose songs with mostly LOOPS. Fucking Christ.

Actually, that's not even the worst thing. The worst thing is that due to me being the only one in the class with any experience producing music, I have this annoying habit of spending two or more class periods on a song, making it really good (for what we have to work with; confirmed by several people), only to have my jackass of a teacher yelling at me because I didn't follow the 'AB melodic form'. Who gives a fuck?? I made a song, it fits the requirements of what we had to do, it's good, and I get yelled at because it doesn't follow an extremely basic melodic form. Meanwhile, the rest of my class produces mostly shit due to their inexperience/not caring, and they get almost praised by the teacher. I've had several people tell me that I'm trying to hard in the class because he really doesn't care about quality, he cares about whether or not it follows the 'AB melodic form'.

Yeah, I started a loud, fast paced techno-y track just to do that :3
I don't actually know if it's techno, but it's 150 bpm with a lot of distorted, gated synths and a 4 on the floor beat, so... :3

I'll try the really fast glitchy loops thing, considering I have it long block tomorrow (an hour and a half instead of 45 minutes)

Don't Hug Me I'm Scared is probably my favorite video on the whole internet. I sang it impromptu with a large-ish group of people today even.
And I know where you are coming from, 9 volt! That is exactly how I feel whenever we learn about like art history or whatever. And when people make movie trailers with iMovie 11 for school projects (in case you didn't know, iMovie 11 automatically assembles your clips into a trailer. It's like the AB formula of the video editing world.)

my dad just started yelling at me for getting a 76 on a biology test! Probably because I've gotten like A's on all the other ones? But this happens every year at this time, because every year they do the "Healthy Choices" unit which is basically sex ed. And I don't think either of my parents understand how much trouble I have with that. I can't even think about sex without being totally grossed out, so a whole unit on it is pretty much tuned out! They think that I want to do badly on the test intentionally but in reality that is not the case. Bloody hell.
Actually I'm doing pretty well in biology but right now I have a big problem with precalculus. God I hate this class. No matter how hard I study, I can never get more than an 80 on the tests. so right now my average is 74. I think the highest grade I ever got in that class was a 92 or something and that was the only time I ever got an a on an exam. And other than that it's just a whole bunch of crap

Heheh that's an interesting situation... Right now I am trying to decide if I am actually asexual or not. I'm 15 so of course I haven't actually done that kind of thing, but I feel like I don't have to try it to know that it's not for me. So I'm probably asexual but I'm still researching that. I'm not aromantic though, obviously. :3
And it's definitely not that I am not yet mature enough because I am like six feet tall

Although Nine Volt, how would it be if you actually talked to your teacher about your situation? I was feeling frustrated in kind of the same way about my French class because we were doing too many pointless workbook excercises (remember I already speak french fluently) so I went and talked with my teacher and she said that I could do more advanced stuff like literature in French and stuff. So maybe try that but my French teacher really likes me so maybe that is the only reason it worked in my situation :C

My parents don't seem to accept that I'm just not very good at science. Their logic is that if I'm doing good in one class, I can do good in all the others. And my brother is doing better than I was in 8th grade, so I know I'm not the smartest brick in the bucket at my house, so whatever.

Fuck music. I hate this shit.

^That happens to me quite regularly. Best advice I could give is to explore some other hobby of yours (say, I'm interested in programming - so I go and take some courses and experiment), and then go back to making music whenever you feel like it. It's not like you're obligated to make music, is it?
