I think this could be good. As long as they don't run a separate series on it.
But yeah, FiM has needed a shake-up for the past year, and I don't think the alicorn thing was going to cut it.

Plus, she'll probably be a boss at doing her schoolwork.
ganondox wrote:That's one of my main problems with it. Twilight was already apparently at university or grad school or something in the show, so it makes no sense that she is now going to high school.
ph00tbag wrote:For the record, the ponies probably are physically closer to high school age than adulthood. Digibrony does a pretty good job of explaining why:
The reason they're viewed as closer to adulthood in the show is because Pony society tends to grant adult responsibilities at a younger age, because horses mature faster, physically, and most ponies know their career by the onset of puberty.

I'd say comparisons to grad school aren't very appropriate, given the format of pony education. Journeyman (journeymare?) or even master might be more appropriate descriptions of her education level, since higher education in Equestria is typically more focused, given that ponies are aware of their area of expertise by the end of puberty.
ganondox wrote:Well Digibrony is wrong, because the mane 6 have the same body shape as everyother pony, like Mayor Mare, not a teen body shape or anything, and actual teen ponies are seen in other episodes.

That wasn't funny in the slightest. Seriously.
Im a fan of the other fiw episodes, but that was just crap, just really obvious bad puns and describing what was going on. No.

I second this.

The meta is totally lost on you, then. :\

No, I meant that it's a trailer for what I assume is eventually going to be a full thing, so I don't think you should judge something based on what essentially amounts to a trailer.
