In a world where I can play the piano, it figures I wouldn't have fingers...

I rather enjoyed the relaxed song. But your "background" noise is far too loud D:
You should mute the rain sound a little so I can get more of the nice jazz!

Really good work though!
DAW: FL 11
Vst 'n' stuff: Megatron and a bdsm chamber.

Regarding the background rain sounds, at first it felt a little much; some of my views on my music are a tad conservative, but I think invoking the sounds of rain through the piano rather than just flat out having rain sounds in the track is a lot more tasteful. This was my opinion in the first section of the piece, where the piano sounds a lot more like a Satie composition than a jazz tune, but when the band kicked in, the piano took on a different character. The straight melody combined with the very minimal comping in the left hand reminded me more of video game music than pure jazz. Since I view that kind of music to be more similar to film music, the ambient sounds seemed a little more appropriate at that point.

Other than that, I think you could've toned down the snare a bit and gave it more human subtly. Also, I didn't realize there was a bass until I listened with my headphones; other than bumping the volume, you could've stuck to the more traditional sound of the fingered stand-up bass: something with a lot of front to the sound and fairly quick decay.

I like the idea though!
