Sorry that you're stuck with my feedback since I've never written for this genre. I am pretty fond of it, though, so maybe my words can be of some use.
You've definitely got a start, but to me it felt like the whole thing was missing a layer or two. I can't say exactly what I'd like to add but another instrument and maybe some vocals could help flesh this out. All the best electro-swing that I've heard has had multiple things going on at once. I'm sure you already know of them, but in case you haven't try giving Caravan Palace a listen. Doing so would be more instructive than anything I can say here.
Also, repetition. There's just too much of it, even for electro-swing. This can be remedied by introducing another section, by varying the timbre in what you have already, or better yet by both of those things. Variation, nuance, and timbre are especially important focal points when dealing with a genre that relies on repetition as much as this one.
The samples you used were well-chosen; they sound a lot like what you'd find in a CP track.
As a side note, I didn't really get an Applejack sense from this. In fact, to me it didn't really seem pony at all, but you could just chalk that up to personal taste.
Sorry I couldn't be much more of a help, but you had a solid start here and I think it has a lot of potential.
