Here's my WIP. I muted the pianos that were representing the vocal tracks as they made the song sound way out of time. If the song sounds kinda empty thats why, the vocals are to come! Also the strings and woodwind seem a little out of time, something to do with the samples, I'll fix that up later on...

It's hard to judge without the vocal track, I'm sure it's meant to be a very important part of the composition, but here's my thoughts so far. You're still in the arrangement stage so I won't comment on the mix too much.

I think you can vary the piano part a little, or rather, maybe introduce another instrument to pick up some of the slack. Even if you have a vocal part throughout the entire song, having something else Q in after the vocals can add variety and effect to the song.

I find the drums to be very boring. I'm the kind of guy who can really appreciate a good drum solo. Not saying you need one, but mixing up the drums can make the song sound much more dynamic. You have the same drum pattern playing throughout the song, and that makes the song sound like it isn't really going anywhere. You may also choose to cut out the drums completely in the middle of the song to introduce a new compositional element, and as a transitional element.

Take a listen of this song. Listen after 2:00. I love how the drums are changed up for transition, and then drop out completely and the guitar drops in. Then the drums are quite minimal to good effect. Then at 3:04 the main vocal theme kicks in, and you have a whole new appreciation of it.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah at the moment the drums are really just a filler so that I know I've got a steady beat to the song, I'll add some dynamics with that after I get the vocals in. Hopefully vocals will make the track complete, otherwise I guess I'll have to go without them and just hope that the song still sounds reasonable. :3

I designed the logo by following a spiral template, I thought it would give it a cohesive look and I think it turned out well. I tried not making it look like a recognizable character to avoid copyrights, but it ended up looking like rainbow dash. Is this an issue?

I used this as an excuse for a publishing assignment, so I designed this for print. I think it would look good in print in a jewel case or something, but I don't know if it's flashy enough for the web. Personally, I'm attracted to the beauty of simplicity.
