Im curious, I have a track Im working on now that I want to include some dubstep-like bass wubs and drops and things. Otherwise, it is house though. As long as I keep to the tempo constraints, is this ok?

I can't see this thread being too active until nearer to the due date, but I want to tell you guys that you can post your WIPs in this thread and I'll get to giving some critique pretty shortly. Or, if you prefer, you can PM me. Or even email me. Just remember that I'm one guy, and I'm not a master at house, plus I have my own personal preferences so you should get at least one other person to look at it.

Ooh, this again! Glad to see you're making a second album (and that you're still using the name I came up with

), but I'm probably not going to participate in this one. I've been so extremely busy with other things (work, for example), I may not even get my R&R track done on time. That, layering on top of the bad creative block I've been having.

If I manage to come up with a crazy cool idea for a house song and finish it, I'll gladly submit it, though

Not too bad so far, but that clap sounds too far spaced; I personally think claps should be more centered in the stereo field, but again that's just an opinion. But yeah, for a WIP it's pretty good. Maybe play around with harder sidechaining though, just a thought.
