I should stop underestimating how dark I can make my songs :P

I have no idea why, but it kind of reminded me of "Perfect Dark 64" around the end, with the obvious dubstep feel to it.

I really have nothing to critique, it was so enjoyable. I love dark music like this, and I absolutely ADORE the second half. I might just try and remix the song seeing as you have the vocals sitting there in the description, but I won't come close to how dark this feels you can bet on that.

Love the vocals so much.

The chords you use, It gives me some kind of nostalgic feel which i love. I don't what know what say really because it sounds good.

I'd love to hear what you can come up with :D I've updated the description to include a MIDI stem with the main chords.

Thanks! The main chord progression consists of i, IV, vii(dim), i, IV, V (Special thanks to Kyoga for helping me with that.)

Some of you best work yet! Since its done I won't do a full anaysis/breakdown, I will give you some pointers for your next track.

The 'wubs', although not 'behind' the mix, are not in front. This mainly applies to those mid range sounding wubs, they are a main element in the track but they are not mixed as one. The sustained lead synth playing the melody and chord progression is mixed in the right spot. It sits on top and that where those 'wubs' should lie as well.

The vocals are great but like above they are just a bit behind the mix, they are falling behind the kick and snare but stay just on top of the pads and synths in the background. The 'whispering' part is too far behind the mix to easily understand what they are saying, I know the effect you were going for but it still needs to be louder, or the other elements quieter.

A good technique for placing what elements you want on top (specifically vocals): Turn your monitoring volume until you can just barely hear the music, it should be clear but really really quiet. Then turn your vocal track's volume up until you can cleanly make out what they are saying. Of course this is a bit harder when you've worked with the song for a while and have memorized the vocals but be as objective as possible.

As always, I like your music.

I love the instrumental! Definitely has great dark vibe, and I like the slow bpm. The dub parts fit in really well.

For the vocals, they sound good but my only complaint is that the lyrics seem to be trying to fit too many words in one bar at some points. You seem to be speaking rather quickly and off time on some of the phrases, which detracts from the over all slow, melancholic (and for some reason, the world relentless comes to mind) atmosphere of the rest of the song.

Great overall though!

Thanks for the advice 4th. I think this is the first time you haven't said the kick and snare fall behind, so a big thanks to Lavender for helping with that!

The less prominent wubs was more intentional rather than unintentional. I didn't really want the mid-range basses to be the main focus of the listener.

The whispering vocals being too light was definitely unintentional, and was likely due to me lowering their gain a bit too much in the mix.

@Vapor: I had a hard time trying to determine if I should have gone with more of a rap type of vocals. I kind of fell into a (in the future) avoid zone for bpm that was a little too fast for melodic vocals, but too slow for rap.

Once again, thanks for the feedback everybody!
