I use a KORG AX3G with the output going into my mixing desk and the the out put of my desk going into a USB audio interface...

well actually that's all hardware... and yea... my dad got me the KORG AX3G and the desk is a small 8 channel one

It's a Guitar Effects Modulator so it depends on the effect but It's pretty sweet has 40 presets and 40 customs
