Hey, check out this new genre.

Turns out electro house and swing actually go really well together.
Maybe a few bronies here can build on this idea, or make something similar? Like I was thinking maybe fusing electro house with Greek bouzouki music. Let's see if any of us can make that happen.
I always enjoy doing something until I have to.
Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.

Did you literally just search "Electroswing"?

I did that last week and this was the first thing that popped up.

Sorry. I'm not normally this mainstream...
Is electroswing something that's been big for a while?

There have been several brony electroswing songs released, including this one that was uploaded about 10 minutes ago:

Sorry if I came off as a bit dickish there. I'm actually not 100% familiar with the genre either. I literally read the description to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNjvHAQ0IdY and searched Electroswing and the one you linked was the first to show up.

Electroswing has kind been around for awhile and done by a few people in the brony community (and outside it of course too) for at least 7 months but not by a lot of people. It's not as well known as a lot of genres or as vague as others so don't feel TOO bad that you're just coming across it now.

Here's a thread on a forum i frequent that just started up on the subject of new genres that includes it and conversations on recent ones such as Chillwave, Witch House, Future Garage, Seapunk, Cloud Rap, Electro Swing, Vaporwave, Digital-Cumbia, Moombacore, Moombahton, Post-Dubstep, Trap Music, and Trapstep. (I'm TheScientist on there)

Can't hurt to perouse on there and get caught up on what's going on and also perhaps get inspired musically. A lot of of those genres aren't being made any brony currently.

Y U NO CHILLWAVE MLR!!!???

I still think we should do something similar, like again Greek bouzouki-inspired stuff.

Wow. I actually do not like this genre so far. (Which is weird bc I like EVERYTHING) It just sounds like sped up electro with some jazzy (Excuse me if I just blatantly threw around the term "jazz" incorrectly. I was born in 1998 and I have no clue about anything that was not made with a computer. To me, if it has swing and a saxaphone horn thing in it, it's jazz) elements thrown in. I'd rather just listen to hard dance. :P
