Hello, I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing time, whatever you do or do not celebrate.

I'm looking for some feedback on a piece I posted about a week ago. Technically it's not a WIP anymore but I still would like to know what people think. I am well aware that it's quite poor so don't be afraid to criticize anything, anything at all.

ooooo the notes you be usin' are mighty fine. :D

kinda sounds like a song being played at a merrygoround or some sort of music part in a movie.

now i am not much knowledge when it comes to orchestral, except for the chords n stuff, but i think this is very mighty fine. i would give feedback but i feel that anything changed in this would take away from the mood of it. which is really cool. i love how its kinda quite and a little bit gloomy. i would tell you to maybe add more strings n stuff, but then it would take away from the mood. ya know?

i mean the only think i could advice is to put less reverb on the instruments. but dont take it all off because then it would sound kinda bland. just like a hint of reverb might do the trick.

but i like it :D

Take my advice with a grain of salt as i too am learning how this music stuff works

Thank you for the feedback! Don't worry about not knowing much about orchestral, at this point anything is helpful.

A merry-go-round? Interesting. I hadn't thought of that.

My string samples are pretty bad so using reverb/effects is my cheaty way of working around that.

I do have one question: do you think it in any way sounds a little bare? You said adding more things would take away from the mood but I got that sense that there was something missing, even if it was something really small.

Edit: I thought of another question - does it vary enough or is it too repetitive?
