It's a cool concept. I always like songs that are based on more specific events or scenes, so a track based off of the ghastly gorge episode is pretty cool.

So, my biggest problem with this track is the Rainbow Dash vocals. I think they've got way too much reverb and delay going on; it sounds more like she's deep underground in a cave rather than in a gorge. It makes the vocals sound really distant, and at times like 0:57 it's really difficult to hear clearly.

At the start of the song, I don't really like the closed hat hits under the chords. I feel if you're going to use those to emphasize the chord hits it would be better to choose a hat with more of a tail. The current one feels too short and awkward to me.

The "swoosh" wavy sounds at 0:33, when the drums kick in, feel unnecessary. Either that, or they're too loud but either way they keep distracting me from the rest of the track. The vocal clips of Rainbow with the delay on them, at the same part, is the same sort of thing; just a bit on the unneeded/distracting side in my opinion.

For the drop/chorus/main part, I would consider giving the kick drum some low end and bring the volume of the snare up. Other than that it sounds good to me. I do particularly like the feel of the drums on this track, and not just during this main part but throughout the song. You did a good job on those.

The way the song ends feels a bit out of place, with how it just kinda fades out. At least to me.
By the way, there seems to be like a minute or so of video on the Youtube version that remains after the song ends.

So them's my thoughts. I apologize if you weren't looking for criticisms seeing as how you already put the track up and all... I guess that tends to be my idea of "feedback" in general... Either way, good luck to you in your music-ing endeavors and keep up the good work!

ahaha i like that chord stab thing. but one thing that i don't like too much is the use of entire sentences of rainbow dash. i kinda dont like that actually in general but i think its just a personal preference. but aside from that i think the sentences are are mixed well. they dont stick out like crazy. which always bothers me and which also probably makes me dislike them :P

but the synths sound good. though i kinda think they are a bit muddy. they kinda blend into each other. maybe some sidechain compression?? i dunno if that would work because i always get muddy sounds wif my synths. :(

but this does sound rather nice. :D crazy funkeh DnB!

Ahhhhhhh thank you <3 I always love it when someone tears my songs apart, because I'm still learning, and it's nice to hear what I could have easily fixed.

The vocals were intended to sound distant, but I do think there is a bit too much reverb on them, but I have had this song sitting around for about two months (Started it three months ago, too).

As for the ending, yes, it was super duper lazy. I couldn't get an ending to it that would actually fit well with the song, and this is the reason why I let it sit for two months. I just got lazy and made it do a simple fade out.

But thank you for this <3

EDIT: Oh yeah, the extra minute on YouTube. Happens a lot when you upload from EQbeats. The YouTube editor doesn't seem to want to work this time...

Haha, if you think it sounded muddy now, you should've heard it before I mastered it! But yeah, it's still a bit muddy. There is some sidechain compression every time a kick hits, but it isn't super duper noticeable.

Glad you liked it, though <3

Oh good, I'm glad you feel that way. I can't help but feel like a bit of a dick whenever I end up giving a bunch of criticism like that, so I'm thankful you take it so well!

Ah, well if that was the intention then by all means keep it up. My opinion is just one of many, after all, so ultimately you should go with whatever you think works best of course.

You're very welcome, sir. Always happy to give my viewpoint on stuff like this.
