<non-pony><dance/rave><Christmas> Snowflake

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYPONY!

So, here's a thing I made for Christmas. Also my first song with Logic Pro.
If you like it, I'd appreciate it if you also gave a like or something on YouTube(I mean... if you want to... and if that's ok...)

Also, I suck at mixing. Celtik (http://www.youtube.com/user/celtikofficial) helped me with that. Now, I have looked at what he did with the mixing, and I learned alot, so I should be able to mix myself the next time! ^-^

By the way, I have no idea what genre this is, so I just put it as dance/rave because of a discussion with randomblockfilms in another thread.

The drums are too low in the mix for my liking, they seem to be getting washed out by the synths. The kick especially could do with more... presence maybe. Not sure if its lacking top end or just too low in the mix, but it need to be brought forward. Bassline too could be clearer.

I don't love the structure of the intro. I think either lose the first nine seconds, or keep the bells going until the rest of the drums come in.

I also think the outro was a missed opportunity. It felt like it was about go into a nice chord progression for a bit (which I think would have made a great outro), but just faded away instead. It would be cool to see what you have already condensed to about two minutes, and the outro expanded upon.

It's my first song in Logic, so yea, it's not that good. I tried to make it as long as possible :/

I had a really good idea for the outro, but I just couldn't seem to make it :(

But thanks for the feedback ^^ I will definitely save it for future music making :)

 I never said I thought it wasn't that good, this is just what I thought could have made it even better.

Good luck with Logic, learning a new DAW is always daunting.

Oh, and longer isn't always better, Case in point. Don't make your song longer just for the sake of being longer. It might be because started writing music with punk songs, but I don't see anything wrong with sub-two minute songs.
