I like Wolfgang Gartner because he said I'm cool. Oh, and because his music is what God rocks out to.
I always enjoy doing something until I have to.
Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.

But that's bad house.

It's probably the most suitable for the definition of 'best house' out there as its one of the most processed groups out there today, their songs goes trough so many professionals before they are out to sound appealing to as many people as possible.
The SHM group didn't even work on 'Don't you worry child' because they are not professional enough.. :3

But everyone has the right to their own opinion and it might very likely sound bad in your ears but don't go around saying it's bad unless it really is, as you will affect others in a negative way and just enhance the human minds desire to stand out :3

Now back to the topic; any ideas for how the judging will come out 9v? :3

Well, how we are rating the songs etc.

Also: I really liked what senntenial did with the soft spectrum album of giving feedback on the songs, I guess it depends on the amounts of submissions if we could adapt that or not :3

I was actually thinking of doing a similar thing as to what senn did with SS too.

I suppose I could come up with some stuff right now and we can revise/add to it whenever.

Off the top of my head:
Song Quality
Atmosphere (maintaining the same feel through the song)
Coolness (idk)

How about:
Mixing and mastering
Melody and composition
Sound design and usage of it (placing synths etc)
Progression
Or something along those lines :3

Sure.
Also sexiness. Sexiness will be a rated quality. I'm dead serious about this.

If the song does not give Nine Volt at least a little bit of a boner, it will be rejected.

When I saw this thread, I thought this was a album of house music made in tribute to NBC's Community.

I....don't know why. I've never even seen that show.

Welp, here's a short teaser of my track:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIjCM8no_IM

And just to clarify; I cut out the "club mix" style intro for the teaser.

Also, question:
Submission rules require a .wav with the drums and without the drums; does this include hats, claps, and other percussion? Or do you just want the kick omitted? Thanks!

Main, or constant, percussive instruments. So kick, snare and hats should be emited but if you have a random cymbal wash every 8 bars that can stay.

Alright, I'm pretty sure I won't have anything done for this by the deadline. BUT. If you guys would be willing to do this again, assuming this one is a success, I may be able to jump in on the next one.

The deadline kinda depends on the number of decent submissions we get by then.
And yeah, if this is a success then I'd like to do another, as long as 4th or Pseudo (wherever he went) is up for it.

In the distance, the deadline crouches. It sights its prey, meandering about the sprawling grasslands at the base of the hill. The prey looks up, startled by a sudden sound. Upon seeing nothing of concern, the prey turns its head back to its previous occupation: consuming the tall weeds that grew throughout the landscape. The deadline quickly sketches out a plan in its head. It will strike soon.

The deadline is unaware, however, of the prey's preparation for its attack. The prey is hard at work, constructing a song with which it will assassinate the deadline when it isn't looking.

Alright guys, the deadline is approaching rather quickly, so I'll just throw out a list of the submissions I have so far:
DXsmiley
Obrum
MRPPony
Sonic Breakbeat
UnderKeel
Metapony

If you submitted but don't see your name there, you should probably resubmit.

Will I have to submit my track to you even though all the tracks will come to me for the album mix?
