Finally got a midi keyboard (Alesis Q49, not amazing but pretty good)

If you ever get the chance and desire 88 keys, get the M-Auudio Keystation 88es. If you can snag it when musicians friend or guitar center are having one of their frequent 10-15% off you can get it for around $170. It's not really full of features, but it's the cheapest functioning 88key midi controller you can get. I've had one for a year now and it's holding up nicely.

edit: That's not to say to not enjoy your Alesis Q49. My first midi controller was a 49 key and I loved it. Had to abandon it when I moved. :C
