Incarnated Rainbow Abuse (Extreme Metal Guitar)

Postby Greaserpirate » 05 Nov 2012 19:23

There have been quite a few metal covers of Rainbow Factory, but none of them were really as intense as I'd hoped, especially considering the Rainbow Factory is the most metal song in existence that isn't actually metal.

So I grabbed my axe, kicked the tempo up to 180 BPM, and started shredding. I threw in part of Incarnated Solvent Abuse by Carcass to make things interesting, and this is the result: ridiculous amounts of metal.

It's a bit rough around the edges, but hey, it's metal! Featuring ponies! And a tribute to two of my favourite musicians, WoodenToaster and Carcass.
Enjoys creating ridiculous amounts of metal.

True, but as of now it's just guitar, and I was hoping other people would want to remix it or add parts; should I put it in the music subforum if only one instrument's done?

Wrong forum.

A bit of advice, you really need to work on pick technique, there is a lot of pick scratching audible. Try not to hold the pick at an angle toward the strings. Also be careful with how much distortion you use, as that can really accentuate that kind of noise if you're not careful.
