I believe so. A friend of mine does that and says it works just as good as a pop filter cept the db is reduced a bit so you'll need to increase the gain a bit. Not sure what type of mic he uses, but its a cheap $20 one and no poping/heaving breathing was on it.

And yeah I forgot to ask him that. Life happened, man. I'll ask him before I forget.

I like to think my voice is fairly deep for a 14 year old.

I second that. I'm 15 and everyone says I sound 20. But I guess it could be pretty much a genetics thing. On another note, I legit thought you sounded 16,17 maybe 18-ish.
