100% No Modern Talking! Right? Guys? Hello?

If I knew that nobody would care that I spent 5 seconds making a patch, I guess i could be famous right now......

So what do you guys think about this annoying-ass waveform?
(just to clarify I mean just the waveform, not a sound you make with it)

Well I'm pretty much done with this site (it wasn't about the April Fool's joke I actually loved that). If for some reason somebody wants to contact me or something (not like any of you even care lol):

There are much better ways of making this sound that have far better modulation options. If people took the time to learn how to apply the bitcrushing effect externaly or use Sample and Hold in Massive, they could make far better 'yoi' sounds.

As for growls, most people should have learned that their god king Skrillex doesn't use Modern Talking; he processes externally just like other decent EDM producers.

I think the reason people use Modern Talking as their one-stop for dubstep basslines is because it is easier to simply modulate the wavetable with an LFO instead of taking the time to achieve quality sound design.

As a waveform alone, Modern Talking can be fine. That is, if you take the time to process the signal into something that sounds more professional and has a place in your song.

But as an instant dubstep bass, hell no. You can just tell when someone uses Modern Talking completely dry, and it just sounds both weak and lazily produced.

You know, I could honestly care less whether or not people use modern talking in their dubstep, or presets, or whatever, as long as they can make it sound good, I'm satisfied

Modern talking is sick when you combine it with different waveforms, change up the filter routing, and modulate everything.
New track in the works!!

DAW: Sony Acid Pro 6
VSTi: NI Massive 1.3
Plugins: Not many

You don't need a cabinet full of cleaners to make a sick track
