Seconding the comment on the bass o.o. a very nice Hardstyle Kick.

love the buildup to drop from 1:24-2:04 reminds me very much of a carnivale atmosphere Hardstylized, which fits trixie ;).

Only issue I have at all is the drum hits at 2:41 and 2:43 sound too crisp/out of place in comparison to the rest of the track, and i feel they detract from it.

But overall, massive choon, I love it :)!

Ugh, oh my god, so rough. (Dat kick) Did you layer an 808 or something over it? Or that what you're supposed to do? (Cuz that's what I would do)

1) Take a 909 kick
2) EQ, distort, EQ, distort, repeat x100

Eventually you'll have something that sounds like a Hardstyle kick. Just tweak it until it sounds good.

It was really great, loved it!

Some ideas: I like your kind of eerie, dark piano melody you have starting around 1:22, it fits with a nice contrast with the rest of the song. however, you keep the melody but keep the synth and drop the piano by 1:40, and it sounds a little too cheerful and up beat. I would emphasize the old fashion, discordant piano sound throughout that whole section and go for a darker feel. maybe add some industrial sound effects as well. Or use a spooky carnival organ instead of the synth voice.

But still I loved it over all, and the visuals were nice as well.

Oh, wow, that's actually pretty much what I do in my HS test projects. Like, right down to the 909 kick and everything. O_o

So I'm guessing the lower frequencies just developed on their own? I usually eq the low bass out and then add a sub kick.
