REMIX WAR V - PROPERLY AND CONSISTENTLY TAGGED

Postby Neu_KatalYst » 03 Oct 2012 01:14

Hi guys - Neu KatalYst (shameless semi-pro DnB artist) here...!

As you all know, Remix War V has recently ended, and a torrent was uploaded for listeners and fans to download every entry. I noticed, upon download, that there were no track numbers or consistent album artwork across each of the tracks - however, I didn't think too much of it at first.

But it wasn't until I heard several remixes in a row of "Rainbow Factory" and "Boooring!" (among the other commonly remixed tracks) that I thought, "I'm gonna go ahead and properly tag all of these so that there is less rigidity and more (yet correct) variation."

So...I loaded up the original playlist (located at this link: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16887095/FS_Sh ... Sheet1.htm , which itself is located on the main toastbeard countdown page: http://remixwar5.fluttershydontkill.me/ ) and sorted the tracks into 4 different parts, which would be separated into 4 different "discs," centered around the 4 separate days of the event. I then properly added track numbers and the Remix War V album artwork, located somewhere in the main RWV thread.

Footnote, however - after finishing up the 4th disc, there were a few open spaces (compared to the other 3 discs) and a whole bunch of "stragglers" that weren't in the playlist linked above. These extra songs were shuffled on their own, and added to the end of Disc 4 with continuing track numbers.

TLDR: This is a properly tagged version of the Remix War V torrent, separated into 4 discs, with proper album art and track numbers chronological to the event itself. Enjoy!

Disc 1 = Day 1 (Sat 1)
Disc 2 = Day 2 (Sun 2)
Disc 3 = Day 3 (Sat 8)
Disc 4 = Day 4 (Sun 9) + Songs that weren't in the above playlist (added to the end)

Thanks, my track was tagged as “Nicolas Dominique remixed HMage’s track” on the original torrent, when it’s actually other way around.

i already said this over skype to you, hmage, but just so that anyone else doesn't get confused:

all i did was give chronological track/disc numbers, and album artwork. if there are any other clerical tagging errors that didn't make themselves obvious to me, all i can do is apologize.
