<remix><pony> Ort of the Dress Orchestral

This is the first Arrangement of a Song I ever made using a set of Orchestra soundfonts.

It sounds very flat, I'm not that good (yet, hopefully), I only started last Christmas and I'm using LMMS.

This Arrangement needs lots of improvement, mostly in terms of general arranging to let the instruments fit together better and mastering, because at the moment it sounds extremly flat, like all of my songs.

But main Question at the moment is: What do you think about it?

I make different kinds of music, often get told that It sounds like something for a Video Game because I make only instrumentals, never had a chance to make music for an actual game. I would love to.

Harp sounds very odd when used as a lead instrument in this manner. Most of the time it's used to add effect with rapid arpeggios (like how you used it at around 2:50) or big chords, as the harpist has ten fingers to work with. The articulation of the harp when used this way gives it a very pingy/punchy feel. I think you should use a woodwind or even a cello as your lead (they tend to best replicate singing), the violin doesn't make such a good lead instrument this low in its range, especially with the static articulations. I felt the lower ranges of the song were a bit empty, might want to give the bass more to do, especially in its lower register. Overall, I think it sound pretty nice, just needs some work on the articulations and arranging.

thanks for the Feedback :)

I figured out that the harp sounds a bit odd, but I couldn't fina a proper replacement (I only yesterday found a set of soundfonts with a Violin that sounds really good, I may try it again with that).
I'm even working on a minimalistic arrangiment of This Day Aria (of which I already done a magnificent[/sarcasm] Chiptune Version of) where I use the Harp only sporadicly with short arpeggios for cords.

All in all this piece does contain 1st and 2nd Violin Sections, Cellos, Basses, Horns, Tubas, Harp, flutes and Clarinettes,
I got Advice to use some Percussion as well to give it some more Volume, but I couldn't find Place for it :/
