This WiP is currently very short, but I want help through its creation since this is only my second twelve tone piece. The first one did not turn out very well.

I can't give much feedback on twelve tone without seeing the score...
The only thing I can think of is use range ridiculously. Range was all over the place in twelve tone and it was effective, try it!

I'm finding the twelve tone very difficult to notice. Whilst I notice it the first time, there are instances of notes being used that aren't part of the twelve tone. What did you do after the first instance of twelve tone?
At the moment, some notes seem to repeat too close together or too often. (for example, A# is used in an odd place)
Also make sure the score is neat. There are rests that don't need to be there and some natural signs are missing!
But yeah, explain what you did and I can help.

This was made to be strict twelve tone and I believe that's what I accomplished. The order I went was P0, P2, R2.
Could you specify which of the three A#'s in there you are referring to?
And I'm sorry the score is messy, I don't normally think of other people reading them.

Twelve-tone is actually incredibly difficult to get right. It's not a simple case of choose a tone row and kaboom! Winner! It requires a lot of thought into the process of how the tone row evolves and mutates as time goes on.
Think about how you're going to evolve your tone row. I think the A#'s put me off because I'm used to movements like P0 I7 and so on. Repetition of notes can begin to imply tonal center!
So yeah, study Schoenberg's works, he was the pro!

Exactly how does it evolve? Do you have any short examples of it?
