Hey,

since this is a rather small community I wanted to share my current work in progress with you. It's supposed to be signed on my usual label for vocal tracks with my Singer Sandra. The genre is Progressive Uplifting Trance.

So far it's only me vs. Vocaloid (vocal synthesizer) up to the chorus. The real vocals will be recorded once the lyrics are really done. And I suck at lyrics. >.>

Anyway, take the "vocals" as a guidance. I know they sound horrible, but they give an idea of how the final vocals will be like.

Please feel free to share your opinion. And please be honest. :)

It sounds pretty good. It's clean and well mixed by the sound of it, but for some reason, when there's no vocals (and there's a fair bit of that), it feels kinda empty; like not a whole lot is going on. Maybe a more melodic synth riff?
Other than that, nothing else that I'd change

Thanks for the feedback. I know that there's something missing in the non-vocal parts. But whatever I tried so far sounded cheesy in a way. :D

I keep on trying. Maybe on Sunday I can record the real vocals.
