Here's one of my new songs that I made a few days ago Hope you guys enjoy it and leave a comment telling me what you think
Info On The Song: What came to my mind while making this is Celestia seeing her sister being hurt and caused sadness in Celestia but the sadness transforms to anger and rage as she desires to make the ones who harmed her sister pay.

It sounds like you a lot of thought into the composition of the song; the notes sounds well thought out. The instrumentation is also good, but one thing that came to mind is that considering the "plot" of the song, shouldn't there be more of a buildup or noticeable shift in melody/harmony/volume? Right now the melody/volume/harmony stays at the same stage the whole song, which doesn't lead to any buildup or a feeling of two distinct emotions. Not that what's there is badly structured or even close to that. It's just that it doesn't quite feel like slowly building rage and instead just feels like a mix of the two, rather than a "transformation" as you put it. You did nail the "mix" of emotions, though.
This is all just opinion, though, so you may get a different reception from somebody else.
Also, one question: did you record an acoustic piano or create a piano instrument in your DAW?

Thank you for the comment and opinion. I really appreciate it It could have more buildup now that I thin about it (Then again I did record this around 3 in the morning lol)
To answer your question, I use a Casio piano with a midi attachment. I tried recording with a microphone.....but that didn't turn out very nice so I had to record the piano part using a software instrument in Garage Band.

Thing is, the piano part, while playing the right notes for the theme, wasn't playing with any kind of emotion (changing dynamic, slight tempo shifts, for example) I was unsure about if it was a synthetic piano (in which case it would be hard to put in any emotion) or an acoustic (which you can always improve the emotion on).

Anyway, it could definitely sound better if you recorded an acoustic piano, but that may be harder to do (quality mics etc.)

I know what's really a shame is that A majority of my songs were recorded from a real piano (Yahmaha I think) in my career schools recording studio and I used the choir and strings effects to add more emotion. But they wont let me use it anymore so Im stuck with Garage Band. Oh well
