Just started my second shot at dubstep, an exercise in imitating Rudebrat (one of my favorite dubstep artists, the guy who wrote the original version of 'Obsolete'). I made a melody that sounded like This Day Aria, and it morphed into a dubstep remix. And this just might be my first dubstep song that doesn't suck!

Wrote a rap for my book report for english class :P recording the rap tomorrow. it's a parody of Epic Rap Battles of History. I probably won't do a video. Or at least not a fancy one... maybe just one with pictures. But the point is I made some hip-hop/rap, which is totally new to me. i thought I did decent. Maybe I'll post my results in a bit. as in later this week.

There's just so much going on! It's almost hard to find the melody! It sounds like it should be played by a live band or something.

Oh my god, somebody remembers that.

It actually had those sound files in it originally, no kidding. But I had to take them out when it became a remix. ;_;

I was looking through some old projects and found this. I remember dropping it a while ago. It was mostly me playing around with Massive and Nexus. Question is... What the hay am I supposed to do with it?

Thanks! Yeah, I was seriously lost with what to do with this. But now that I've got some pointers, then I can try and fix it.

Just started a new song. Was inspired by the Eight Melodies from the first Mother game (which i just beat last night and thus have completed the whole series).

And just for fun:

Deleted because not working :C

I think Facade means muddy/muddled as confusing, overcrowded. I agree with him. The distortion is just too much. It sounds more like white noise than like a wobble bass (which i assume you were going for).

Oh, I see. Thanks. Wobble bass? I think I was doing moar of a "turn-random-dials-and-see-what-comes-out" type of noise. But I'll try and fix it now. :D

It turns out that I'm actually dropping off the face of the planet tomorrow, so I guess I should post this for now. I cleaned it up a bit and tried to make it sound less muddy, but I dunno if it sounds any better or not

Well, This is the song I'm working on and it's like 2/3 done
I just need a few tips, all I did for mastering was adding soundgoodizer on the master track and evening out the levels. The lead synth that comes around 1:20 is hand-crafted with 3xosc after hours of playing and tweaking.

I'm working on a UK Garage remix of my favorite pony song, The World Famous Flim Flam Brothers. Here's what I've got so far.

Wish me luck, I'm trying to get EqD with it. This time it's
(a) totally original
(b) cute lyrics and in character
(c) totally current, just uploaded it ten minutes ago
(d) same genre as the last applejinx country tune
(e) did an adorable original vector for the pic, wrinkled nose and everything
(f) good chorus, and AJ insisting she is not a faithless fancy whorse is funny :D

I can but try...
