This is a track for a pony project that may or may not take off, I want to know what people think about it in general.

Any sort of technical feedback is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Here is a list of the instrumentation for reference
Piccolo, Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets, Bassoons, Contrabassoon, French Horns, Trumpets, Trombones, Tuba, Precussion (Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbal, Orchestral Chimes, and a Snare), Harp, and Strings (Violins-Contrabasses).

Also, Yes it is meant to loop.

I like it.
It sounds... like...
EPIC STEAMPUNK WAR-BATTLEFIELD UBER KICKASSERY!
Like the kind of music I'd like to hear in the background a good war game (ooh, wait, I'm suddenly reminded of... steambirds and stuff. Yeah, that's fitting)!
But it gets just a puny bit repetitive (but, then again, that's what I expect from war-salvation-ish music, in which case I think this wouldn't really matter. It's still really good). Like, when I listened to it, I could tell what was going to happen next for some reason. It's like I've heard this before, but I haven't at the same time. Maybe it's a little cliche?
I'm always half-asleep, and I hate dubstep.

Maybe, I've had a LOT of people tell me it sounds like something from Fire Emblem... which is odd because I haven't played any of the games or listened to the sound track.

For the record the pony project is a fan-made tactics game. So far feedback has been pretty consistent! I guess I nailed it by just making it really cliche xD.

The only thing keeping me sane at this point is that most people don't know what augmented sixth chords are and this is the first song I've used them in!

A tactics game?
