Jazz? Manehattan Night? This sounds like something I'd love. I'll give this a listen when I get home. I've written a fair bit of jazz myself, and a lot of it based around New Manehattan. (:

Nice! Can definitely never get enough jazz. The sax felt a little stiff rhythmically in some parts to me, but overall well done. I totally get the high class nightlife on the city atmosphere from it.

"And" is forever alone on that video.

Please tell me where you got that saxophone sample from. I need this sample.

As far as your song goes, you're trying to crack a hard shell. Jazz is all in the moment, with performers improvising their own melodies, riffs and stuff. A song is never stagnant. Look at the drummer in any band: He does that thing with the instruments (Drum fills etc.) to punctuate the song and give it life. The same can be said for all melodic instruments.

A computer could never do this.

You could work for ages on a track, manually adding fills and the like, but really the only way to get a good jazz sound is to play it live.

I'm not saying give up this road. PonyJazz is one of the greatest things in the world and I love this. The technical stuff behind this and the atmosphere is great and you've done a great job. Bravo!

But this isn't going to be a case of copy/paste. You'll need to think and write out all the fills.

*Shrug* Eh...I have no percussive talent what so ever, so I am really forced to use the default stuff on my keyboard. As for that Saxaphone, it's on the Casio WK-200 as instrument #254, T.Sax 2.
