Hi, I'm new to MLR and to music making in general. This is my first song and I'd appreciate some feedback, especially on the technical aspects such as mastering and balancing and stuff. I have absolutely no know-how on the technical parts of music production.

Also, is it frowned upon to use default percussion for FL? I really like how it sounds (Edit: changed percussion).



Oh also, I know that buildup thing is called a white noise sweep, but what's the release sound after it called? I'd like to know where to either download a good one or a tutorial so I can try to make my own.

Again, feedback greatly appreciated, I have no idea what to look for in balancing/mastering.

As far as I know, yes. I hear very often people moaning "Ughhh... default FL sounds." Of course, I'm not /EXACTLY/ sure why myself.
