Hi, hello.
Thought I'd introduce myself properly.

I'm Corentin, usually codl or codlgaez over the internet, and I'm a 17-year-old guy from France. BAGUETTES AND CROISSANTS. BAM. WHAT NOW BITCHES. BEST COUNTRY REPORTING IN.

I don't know much about music, but I've always kind of wanted to make some.
Every so often, I fire up my tracker and stare at the pattern screen until notes appear all by themselves, which never happens. I can (hardly) play the piano, and I have two guitars even though I can't play them. And a kazoo. Now that is an instrument I can manage. As an added bonus, it is highly ridiculous and very annoying to anyone around. Can't go wrong with the kazoo.
My musical influences are for the most part outdated internet memes (hyakugojyuuichi anyone?). Maybe someday I'll actually finish a track, I dunno.

Anyway, I'm more of a programmer / overall computer nerd. I am co-owner, co-programmer and co-pretty-much-everything of eqbeats. The other co-everything is fmang. He contacted me out of the blue around December 2011, we started eqbeats for lack of a better thing to do, frantic coding followed, and all that brought us here. And it all was a pretty cool experience. And still is. And, hopefully, will be \o/

I'm Andrei,a quiet and mostly lazy ...random sound producer.

Started making music half a year ago and took me a while to learn FL to 79% of it's potential,there is still a lot for me to learn. I'm from Romania and I'm 16...can't say much more than that except that I know English very well. I do not know to play and real instrument and my Akai mostly sits somewhere in my room with a thick layer of dust on it as I don't really know how to make good notes with it. Don't think there is something more about me that I forgot to mention. I use FL Studio and lots of VST's with it,yet I do not have +100 VST's like some do xD.

BronyTuber: I can relate to that. Though I've always had some level of interest in music, I never truly felt inspired about it until I saw all of the many wonders that came (and will come) from the Brony music community. Also, I don't have any problem with life stories, just saying

I tend to be pretty quiet in real life and even on the internet it can take some time to "sink" into feeling comfortable around a group of people. I think you'll get feeling comfortable around here pretty quick, though. We're all a family here . Also, it'd be cool to see some of your art sometime, too!

codl: The Kazoo is an often under appreciated musical instrument, you're right that you certainly can't go wrong with it. Je parle un peu de Français, mais... Yeah, it's just high school stuff, haha, but I love the language (though I have the worst accent ever of ever). Go croissants! If there isn't, there totally should be some sports team with that name, just saying. It's really cool what you guys are doing with eqbeats! But totally post up some of your unfinished tracks sometime. Who knows, you might get some crazy inspiration from some feedback!

I'm DoDo1234, and I've joined because I love Brony music! I've never remixed, myself, because I really wouldn't know where to start. Perhaps one day I'll try my hand at it.

My primary reason for joining was that I've been trying to start up this blog, meant to help showcase peoples remixes and such. It'll hopefully be a little like an Equestria daily, showcasing the communities new fresh remixes. But, I'll make another thread for this.
My interests include Ponies, Minecraft, Steampunk, Remixes, Programming, gaming, anime, Clay animations and various other things. I love Japanese games and films so hard, and love Japanese music too. When I'm a big boy (Lol) I wanna go to either Japan or North America (I'm English. )

Hi guys

I've been lurking around here for a long time (actually since the site was launched) and decided to finally post something.

So, here we go! I'm 21, male, currently living in Poland where I was born and raised. I always loved music (not surprising I guess), but school made me absolutely hate music theory, because of the teachers we had, and the way they were trying to teach us. But meh, happens, now I'm back to normal haha, love learning everything I can about it.

I got the idea of creating music myself about 4 years ago, because of a random YT video. I downloaded FL studio, fired it up and stared in shock and amazement at the complicated (as I thought back then) interface. Needless to say I closed it and decided never to bother again... I know, pathetic, and by Celestia I regret it now.

I am a brony since February 11, 2011. Will never forget that date lol. Ponies, and the community, made me realize how bad and unproductive my life was. I swear everything was turned upside down. I'd do nothing but sleep, watch movies and play video games all day long (and I'm still fighting the addiction ). All of the art, music, stories, sites, everything that this community creates is amazing. I took a lot, no community has ever affected me so much before, and that makes me want to give back as much as I can.

Finally, after 20 years of my life, I KNOW what I love and what I want to do. That's simply priceless. So even though this is my first post and you do not know me yet, thank You for everything!

Always wanted to do a Halo 3 Machinima and got pretty far in ideas, but never made one.

i dont even have halo, and sometimes i think of ideas for machinimas too. xD hope im not too addicted to halo. lol

and I'm never without an idea it seems, I just lack the motivation to do it

Recently I've switched over to trying out Ableton from GarageBand.... Oh man, that's such a nice change.

ahahAHLOL! i switched over to ableton, then a few months later, i went back to garageband just to see if i still knew how to use it. my word. it looks like a toy. so simple and not very intuitive.

I'm super late but figured I'd go ahead and post here anyway since I never did. So I'll get to some basics.

I'm 21, male, and I live in Virginia. Hello everyone. I'm Janime. I have no musical talent (unless you consider this magnificent work of art musical, like myself), but I loooove the brony musics. <3

Anyway, uh basic facts I guess? I'm 17, senior in high school. I have...most consoles, including handhelds, except the PSVita. PS3>Xbox 360 guy. Got a gaming PC too. Prefer PC in some cases.
Favorite type of music is heavy metal. Melodic Death Metal is my favorite subgenre, black metal is pretty cool too...power metal, Machinae Supremacy-metal (SID-metal, I suppose I could say), some thrash metal, folk metal, melodic metal of any kind, symphonic too, progressive metal, and pony metal*. Hate most -core stuff (metalcore, deathcore)**.
Fluttershy is my favorite pony. Derpy, and more recently, Roid Rage (steroid pony, whatever), are my two favorite background ponies. Seems like those were generic favorite ponies. Oh well.

Im 20 years old and have been making music for just about a year now, I also play guitar and bass and im currently studying at university doing Games Design

I pretty much listen to any form of music, or will at least give it a try, my favourite stuff though is Dubstep (more old school subby and mellow stuff, not so much the mid range screechy bass stuff) Electro house, Trance, DnB, Folk, Acoustic, Punk and Hardcore. i also DJ with Vinyl on occasion
I make crazy ass jilted percussive beats, would probably be classed as dubstep or 2 step garage and i clearly dont make enough pony orientated music.

So, I'm technically re-introducing myself here. Signed up to this site a few months back under a different name but then work, family, Skyrim personal stuff happened and I fell into lurk mode. All these awesome charity collab albums coming up drew me back here.

So yeah, my name is Scott. I'm 26 (old) and have no formal music training or experience with production/mixing/mastering. I've been surrounded by musicians for nearly a decade now though and have taught myself basic piano and theory. I've been vocals (screams) in metalcore/mathcore/screamo/whateveryoukidsarecallingitthesedayscore bands and I've played a little piano in a post-rock band.

I've always wanted to try my hand hoof at making my own music, and you've all inspired me to give it a try. I'm hoping to write some pony music that combines my mish-mash of experiences and maybe add a little electronic and chip-tunes elements in for fun.

I've been screwing around with Ableton for the past few months, and hopefully I'll have some decent to show for it soon (particularly in time for Balloon Party)!

I'm hoping I to learn, have fun, and make friends. Eeeyup.
