I'm not even sure if I'm going about this right
Never done anything like this before, so some feedback would be nice.

Sometimes thats the best way to do things! As for the track its not bad, it definitly sounds like someones first time doing it synthesis wise but you mix is quite good so far. You have a great kick and snare for dubstep and they sit nicely with the basslines. The bassline needs more variation, and you need more hats and cymbals (or stuff in the high frequencies), and then lots of variation in them to keep it real interesting.

But nice track so far!

Nice to see dubstep that isn't completely "WUBWBUWUVUAUBUABUABUAUBA ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYANDZGJAGLKALGJDAKLGJLAJDLLJADLGKJADLKJKLADGJLAJD RANDOM NOISE INSERT HERE LAGKLJGLADJ HEAVY HEAVY SHIT AGKLADKGADLGKHALKGHADKLGHADLKGHADLKHKLHALGHJASLKHGKASJLH take a 5 second break GHJGLASHKJGASHKLAHDSLKGHASKJLDGHAKJSLHASKLHASKJLGHAEWLGUWQGHQOWIUHASLJDKH"

In other words, it was pretty good.

GET SOME SUB BASS IN DAT SHIZZ
Get a sine wave generator, pretty much any synth has one
then Compress the hell out of it, add a little valve distortion, compress the hell out of it again
then low pass filter it, boosting it about 80Hz
dont forget to sidechain it to your kick

alright! This was very good :) you did a nice job of synchronizing the instruments, the wubs sound good. Just a little tip though (and I'm not sure if you'd be able to do this, depending on the software you use), get an automation track in there and use it to change the LFO speed of the wub every now and then. Like you could make the lower pitch wubs slower and the higher pitched wubs faster, or something like that. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then I'll put it in simpler terms: Find out how to change the speed of your wubs without adding extra tracks
