This is the second track of the upcoming Flutterdash album. Alone in the dark, Scootaloo is again revisited by all the problems of her life. Orphaned, crippled, and utterly lost; Will she ever realize her dreams that are denied her and find the love she needs?

Got all the vocals I needed for the Rarijack album to be completed (the 3 songs missing all in a week). Flutterdash album is not far behind either.

As the album has been split into 4 planned albums (free) and we have 20+ musicians joining in its often been a bit complex to see who's doing what and the progress of each track. Here's where it is at the end of February 2015.

It's cider season and Big Mac has yet another awkward encounter with an eager Cheerilee. As is usual with most of the mares in Ponyville he is aggressively (and on this night drunkenly) hit on, despite the fact he has no interest in the company of mares. This is also a ponified cover of The Smiths classic.

Vocals for this track are by the amazing Luna Jax. He did a fantastic job on vocals and I thank him very much for continuing his excellent run of being the go to for Big Macintosh songs in the fandom. And I am Freewave who did the rest of the music. Mixing, mastering, and organizing of this project.

Rarity and Applejack have a romantic evening planned, leaving Sweetie Belle to stay the evening at Button’s house. What the young ponies have built up in their minds is quickly and unexpectedly extinguished. The evening turns into an awkward disaster as they continually misinterpret what the other is thinking and feeling throughout the night.

A dream opportunity to work in Manehattan finally comes Rarity’s way as she has always hoped for. Her friends and marefriend go to the train station to help send her off for what they assume is a temporary job. She says she’ll be back eventually and that she’ll make the long distance relationship work…but is it really that truthful? This is the beginning of the end of the Rarijack album, out now. Thanks to Jokeblue for his amazing thrash guitar.



I hope people check out the album. It feels so good to finally have this done. I have to thank Morte McAdaver, Johnny Mare, Jeff Burgess, Luna Jax, Simul, Bloo, Andante Skie, Jokeblue, Zatslol, Warbalist, Metal Mare, Lore, Fire Frets, Sasha Lace, and the rest of the Maressey team for helping me make this album. I could have spent another month on mixing and likely gotten no further so it feels good to put it down and say it’s as good as it can be. I hope people enjoy it even if it is a bit sad.

Ok took a sufficient break off from the project to somewhat recharge my batteries. Have a WIP of Flutterdash album really just about ready for the greenlight so will likely get new tracks out the next 2 months from album #2 out. #3 will likely be next to close out the series and complete it.

After weeks have gone by, Spike finally has had enough with waiting around for Rarity to return from Manehattan. He wants no more carrying around luggage, trying on dresses, and investing in the doomed relationship. This is his farewell note he sends to her as he vows to get on with his new life.



This is the final song from the Rarijack album....Rarity is overcome by the difficulties of her new life in Manehattan while assisting on the fashion designs for a doomed wedding party. After a long day, she tries to sleep, but keeps dreaming of her family and the past. Things go from bad to worse after she finally opens a letter from AJ, informing her of the formal end to their relationship. Her life comes crashing down around her, as she realizes she now has lost everything in the pursuit of her career. I

So I've seen posts concerning this project float around tumblr in the past. Specifically, there was one post about there going to be four albums at some point, one of which was TwiLuna in theme which caught my eye. But after doing a bit of looking around I wasn't able to find anything on it. Is any of that album still in production?

With some LUCK it CAN still come to be. There was plans for a Twiluna Album as the third album all along. Basically a 4 song arc being the romance of the two characters. Some other songs about Trixie, Pinkie, Maude, and Celestia thrown in.<< Initial Plans <<

Biggest issue is that those 4 songs have had a hell of a time getting any traction. Initially Tarby was doing on of the songs (the first one) but he didn't get any progress after 3+ months , we went through a variety of female vocalists but couldn't get anyone to record anything after getting ppl to sign on. The finale song WAS completed but they didn't do the key lyric change from the original and then they stopped responding to emails about finding the time to change the one line, so it may still have to be omitted as it changes the meaning of the song.

I have a new female vocalist looking at the two Twi sung songs and that MIGHT happen still EDIT: OK NEVER MIND THAT FELL THROUGH AGAIN (or i may have to shop it around yet again) and Warbalist has been working on the one track that has no midi and plans to get the vocal. He's had several deaths in the family as of late but said he was working on completing it. If I can get those completed soon I'll see if I have enough songs for that album to be completed (in its entirety or in a slightly more edited version). If I keep striking out on Twiluna then I'll just combine the completed tracks of albums 3+4 into a finale album 3 and be done with it. Either way as I 'm releasing Flutterdash over the next 2 months I'll be working a bit on getting album 3 cleaned up in whatever form it takes.

Dash is depressed, and quite bored of Ponyville. She has grand dreams that exist outside of this small town. With a town where nothing ever changes, and a relationship she now finds somewhat boring, she's finding a pull to move on to bigger things and to let the past go. It's also a ponified cover of a classic track by The Smiths.

We've had a bit of a break from the Maressey project and I hope people appreciate that we're back and putting music out again. The Flutterdash Album will be out rather soon. Expect 5 more songs put out weekly to get that storyline completed.

One evening after Rainbow Dash pries into the source of Fluttershy's continued shyness, she finally reveals the truth. Shortly before the two eventually became friends in flight camp she suffered from weeks of abuse from the other young pegasi and their tyrant headmaster. That childhood trauma has affected her ever since. It's also a ponified cover of a classic track by The Smiths.

A massive thanks to Starbreeis for taking on the vocals of this track. i thought she did a wonderful job on this track and several others. She's fabulous! She will be back on next week's track with Fluttershy's encounter with Discord.

Celestia aims to reform the newly freed Discord with the help of the patient Fluttershy. However, things do not turn out as well as she planned. He quickly takes advantage of their friendship, tricking her to do things she wouldn't normally do, and poisoning her relationship with the bearers of the Elements of Harmony.

Discord has been freed of his prison by neutralizing the elements of Harmony through Fluttershy's failure to befriend him. He vows to begin his reign of chaos anew and with the help of other villains he seeks out. However, this time he might not even need to lift a finger for things to fall into place. As always it's originally a classic track by The Smiths

Scootaloo is infatuated with Rainbow Dash, wanting to spend every moment with her idol. Rainbow Dash is bored of her bland relationship with Fluttershy and appreciates the devout attention. The unbalanced and unhealthy relationship is a hardship for the young pegasus. It's clear she cares so much more about Dash, but is not old enough, or ready, for a companionship that she desperately wants (and is not getting).

Andante Skie did the great vocals for this track. Thanks for helping on this track and being such a great friend!

Sorry I never get around to completing the two remaining planned albums. Just too little a remaining cohesion within the group and the project was always a case of a diminishing returns for all the time it took up for myself. Ultimately I became too depressed to want to work on it and I had no time to make it happen anyway. I may compile a final goodbye for the project (or not) with any remaining completed songs but at least 2 albums came out like I wanted.
