This was pretty good, actually shed a tear for it, some fine ass music here, damn it's hot it's here. A couple of things I would pick on would be the the beginning synth. It's nice, but damn it sounds plucked, maybe setting the attack a little higher. The intro could use a little more flavor, all it really has is nice sounding pads and chords, which made me break down like a baby, but it just felt a little too bland, maybe a little more random ambiance or something. The beginning synth seems like it could probably fit into the intro, maybe, idk. And the beginning seems like it could be a little louder, the drop was flirting with the peak god, but the intro just seemed a little too low and I think I heard some vocals in there, if so, bring them up. The lead at :53 sounds ambiguous as hell, feel like it needs to gtfo of there. The lead in the build seems like it needs to be louder also. At 1:33-34, might want to get rid of that, sounds weird. You're definitely taking some inspiration from Fractal and AU5 and Volant, and though I actually hate dubstep with a passion, I 'd say you replicated their style decently well. Also the filler noise in the drop other than the bass seems too loud, they interfere with the bass too much me thinks. All you really have to do now is finish this.

In lite of what Mr. Chip did, I do agree with most of what he said, I didn't shed a tear, but the opening Pad where very nice to listen to. And the bass does seem a little hard to hear during the drop, I don't know if it's white noise or some sort of reverb, but I feel like it's drowning out the actual bass. Nonetheless, this is actually pretty good and I'm looking forward to hearing some more.

I don't think the bass sounds drowned out, it's a pressurized effect, gives it a lot of atmosphere. I think this is great, like, top-level great. When it's done, please send it in to Monstercat!

What is it with Monstercat, they aren't the only promotion group you know. This song has its definitive quality and I agree this is pretty good but you have to take into consideration the songs other elements and how they mix, dubstep just isn't about bass.

The main thing that makes me like Monstercat is how open and free they are. All of the music released through them may be used in any YT video as long as it's properly referenced. Monstercat also releases the greatest variety of EDM I've seen in any label, even within the same genres. Also, they simply do not care about your popularity or anything. If you're good, they'll take you in.

just wanna go ahead and add on here, monstercat is less about skill and more about originality (of course that doesnt mean you'll get on of you're shitty) but i think after all of the elements like mixing and sound design are analyzed, then they judge the creativity and originality. this song im working on would never make it to MC because there are so many producers chasing after this style, plus they already have Au5 and Fractal.

No it doesn't. I've yet to come across two songs on MC that sound the same. Maybe some have similarities, like how Renzokuken is obviously inspired by Madeon's Tehcnicolor and Icarus, but let me give you some examples:

Au5 - Blossom --- vs. --- Protostar - Scorpion pit (VIP Mix)

Case & Point - Savage --- vs. --- Let's Be Friends - FTW

Tristam - Once Again --- vs. Tut Tut Child - Dance To It

There is such a ridiculously large amount of variation in MC, it's the reason why I love them. I'm surprised every time, to hear what these amazing people have been throwing many hours of their lives into.
