It's certainly been a while since I've been here. Then again, I haven't put together anything tangible in months.
This is a garage track that I'm trying to bring back from the dead. Despite how seemingly bare-bones garage is, there is still a lot of depth missing. Concerns at the moment are which organ to use (which is why I uploaded two versions with different organs) and how to add more color to the track without losing style. I'm definitely thinking about adding in more sub bass hits across beats 5-7 of the main pattern to keep from having a lower-frequency dropout.
I have different a progression in mind, so don't worry about that. But what you hear by the end of the project is full-depth.
Scroll to the 13-second mark of each track to begin. The vocals in the beginning are there so I have something to refer to as I'm editing. They'll be removed in the final product.
EDIT: I'm listening to some old school garage to find out what I'm missing (GetDarkerTV episode #119 if you're interested, although I was looking for Walsh's set. I'll probably switch over to that in a second). It seems that every track always has some rhythmic percussion going aside from the hi-hat and/or shaker. I was thinking about some bongos or side-drum samples. Any ideas?
i've been recently starting to make use of my youtube channel and put out bass covers of dub/house/chillstep brony songs i'm not a pro by any means but its just for fun really and in case bands may want to look at my skills i'll have it available so... here it is

Have new album out and will have to have vids made for each new track (1/2). Want each to be a video and not a static image. 3 new tracks for New Sincerity should be done but might be polishing further 1 track for another project due next week 1 trance remix of a high profile track that i should try to finalize the week after that
Funny thing is most of the work is done so i can coast for a bit on whats ready to be published....think a small break is deserved.
Just started a very ambicious project. I am atempting to polkafie every canon song ever... in one track... It's gonna take some time... like... I literally cant be done before S4 ends! Or I might split up the tracks so I have one per season... Idk yet, but it's gonna be big... very big...
And I'm still working on a bunch of other projects, like derpys wings. Where do I find the time...
Currently working on getting this here ready for release ;)

I am currently working on a mash-up that will be posted on EQbeats sometime soon. It consists of Tremil's Remix of Awoken and The Eternal Insomniac's Pwn 'N' Stuff instrumental. I believe it will be finished within the month of April.

Good thing that "working" has got such a broad definition...
A few of my songs, mainly covers, reside only in my head currently. Most of them exist as still unfinished LilyPond sheet music, I keep working on it whenever I feel like it or whenever I've got another idea for these songs. The lyrics are often the toughest part, especially filling the verses with life. These songs span a broad range of genres or subgenres not touched by brony musicians yet, probably mostly because of their age.
Only one song I've actually partly played so far, and that's a cover version of a song from the show (I'm not getting too specific now) in a style that carries it back to the 70s.
Old brony, older than old school. Gear list, Jabber ID: see my profile. No FL Studio, no VSTs. No Skype, no YouTube.
