I tried some things out with composition and structuring when making this, worked more on sound design, and I'm overall pretty pleased with how it turned out. Tell me what you guys think.

I figure I should throw on the youtube video as well, and hope that gets traffic, lol.

Well, This is good. But I hate to destroy your confidence, but there are some issues.

First off, we're listening to the same modulated bass...which gets a little redundant and old pretty fast. The bass sounds off. Like there is too much compression on the low end... Where are the high harmonics? A bass just isn't, well, bass. It has striations in it's frequency, which I'm sure you had, but it has high end harmonics. The best way to focus on those would to route the bass to a maximus channel and do some multiband compression there. The opener was kinda, well, weird. it opened on sort of a disharmony melody/lead. And the build was sort of irrational. I never heard a drop/ build like that. which is good, since i never heard it, but it was constructed in the most odd manner. Verses don't seem to match with the drops, I hear a happy tone, then it goes into something that sound completely different.

Don't get me wrong, you have the capability, but just some of your mixing and melodies could use some work, the same with the EQing in the bass range. But I liked the ending, it sounded nice and made me happy.

I just added a FLP to my Signature for anyone with FL studio 11 to DL, so if you want to mess with it, or see how i construct a basic track, then feel free to DL it.

I know. I've only been working on making music for two years, which I didn't expect you to know that, but I'm pretty certain I know that there are and will be issues with my tracks for a long time to come. But, thanks for the feedback.

that's why it's called "clash". I tried to make them different but not so drastically different.

the EQing in the bass range
I didn't EQ the bass. Perhaps it comes from when I used the multiband compressor in the mastering stage.

Forgive me, I didn't know that is what you meant by clash. I was expecting, since it's called "clash," that things would be all loud and crazy, not that type of clash, but you certainly pulled it off, so I congratulate you on that.

Try putting a little less compression on the Highend then.

Well we all have issues, even my own tracks do. I was simply pointing out what I felt was "wrong," per-say, with this track. And i've only been doing music for about 5 months, so you're way ahead!
