[Non Pony] Retrowave/80's inspired music.

Postby moonkat » 27 Dec 2013 16:36

Hey music-lovers, I'm Moonkat.
Fresh member here. Hope I get the chance to know some of you in the future!

Started out a new little project, I've released 2 tracks so far, and I would love to hear your feedback on them.
I've already got some feedback from artists that wants to collaborate with me in a near future. I'll link one of the artists Soundcloud below as well, so you can check out his music.
I'm heavily inspired by Retro-futuristic music, Retrowave'ish (if that makes any sense, lol. I have no idea what genre I should label my music as, but yeah).

Aaanyway, I hope you do enjoy these songs, I'll try to give my own feedback in this section of the forum as well on other threads!
Hope everyone had a great christmas.

#2 MOONKAT - Hal Nine-Thousand more uptempo than the first one. 130 BPM, I think. https://soundcloud.com/tsugineko/hal9000

Very Tears for Fears-y vibes on that second one. I really like them both. Very interesting.

Tears for Fears was great. I've never heard it before. Thank you mentioning it, I love finding new music and just get lost exploring the internet-space.

I'm glad you enjoyed both of my songs. It really gives me the courage to keep on making music for others to listen to, and not just for myself.

You and I are going to get along great. We actually have a bit of an 80s styled music community here on MLR, some of the people including myself, Seventh Element, Mush, Freewave sometimes does some 80s stuff too, so I'd say you're in great company. Great way to make an introduction, amigo!

You have no idea how happy I was reading this. I listened to a bit of your music on Youtube, it made me smile, and put my mood back to awesome again. Great stuff. I'm glad to hear I'm in the right company, haha :)

Hey! I'm really glad to hear that found my music enjoyable, it does mean more to me than you can imagine. :)
I'll be writing an introduction right away, once I finish this message. Thank you for the link.

Glad to hear I put a smile on your face, but my soundcloud is a lot better when it comes to me updating it. I should have the link in one of my YT videos. But yeah, you're in good company here, man. Feel free to add me on Skype if you'd like.

I can't seem to find your Soundcloud profile..
Any chance you could link it to me here on this thread? :)
