I've technically been done for about a month but I have some school work for next year I've decided to finish in the summer (Advanced Harmony and Counterpoint, US/World History, and reviewing Latin)

Also I found a 50 dollar Amazon gift card from my last birthday that haven't been used so I'm going to be getting a small midi keyboard soon.

I'm gonna get started on my application to JMC Academy (Audio engineering school) and I'm gonna be working in the audio room at the studio my step dad owns so I can get a letter of recommendation from the audio guy.

The next 10 years are gonna (hopefully) be interesting

My basic non-concrete plan is to do the course and try to work as a sound guy for bands and the like along-side a regular job.

My last pay check was about 900 dollars, but with taxes taken awy it was more like 680 which is still the largest pay check I have ever had.

In other, more Dark Souls related news, Taurus Demon took 2 tries and Bell Gargoyles 1. No summons either, and I was undead. I died about 30 times in between though :3

Yeah, they're worth it. On Amazon, you can see that they're $6.99. Woo, I could have saved $1, not including shipping. Same brand and cord length and everything. My take on best buy is that they over price on some products, but you can actually catch quite a few at a worthwhile price.

Are they TRS or XLR?

I'm going with 1/4" TRS. I don't think there's a set of monitors that doesn't have both connection ports, although I could be wrong. In which case, most probably have TRS connections, since audio interfaces generally have more of those than XLR connections. The only reason somebody would want to use an XLR connection with a monitor and not use an XLR-TRS cord, would be if they have a mixing board and want to route a certain set of something through to a specific monitor or something, idk.

My basic home studio setup is almost complete, just finishing making the acoustic panels tomorrow, and then setting them all up and stuff. I'll upload pictures when it's all set up and everything
