First Song!!

Postby DJ Splicer » 07 Jul 2014 03:37

So here is my first song!

I am a self taught DJ and I normally only do mixes but this is an exception to that lol.

Anyways here it is and please remember that I am still fairly new to this kind of stuff...
But any and all feedback is welcome!

Really nice for a first song.

1. Vocal clips were too loud.
2. Mixing needs work. (Can excuse this though.)
3. Those wobble sounds are extremely generic. (Can excuse this as well.)

If you use Massive, I can show you the basics via skype.
DAW: Ableton Live

I personally don't think there's not much wrong with using generic sounds, just so long as they fit in with the song and sound good. Remember this; don't use generic sounds in all your music, just a tip for the future ;)

I personally enjoyed the song. And I liked those visuals too. The was a lack of an epileptic warning, you might want to check that out. I'm not epileptic, but those flashing visuals kinda bugged me. Also, the visuals continued on for too long after the song finished, you might want to fade them out earlier.

Otherwise, yeah, I quite enjoyed it. And you did a really good job for your first song! :D
