Because I don't want to discourage you, I'm going to say that this is a solid attempt, but I think you are lacking the knowledge of what makes neuro, neuro.
Ooh, about that: Neuro is just the first thing that came to mind when saving the file. I wasn't specifically trying to make neuro. I'm not even sure what genre this would fall under (and no, I don't consider chiptune to be a genre, you can make pretty much
anything with a soundchip.)

Another thing would be the actual "neuro" bass. it sounds just like another generic LFO bass. Except it sounds pixelated, maybe that's what you were trying to do, but even so it still just sounds like an LFO.

You have the idea, but I think that FamiTracker isn't the best option for trying to make neuro, depending on what sub-genre of neuro you are trying to make, but nonetheless it is limiting your options and flexibility. It seems like it is only good for chip-tune sounds and not any actual dynamic sounds that neuro and any other sub-genre is composed of.
I think you should try and get an actual DAW like the ones you see many EDM producers using.
Because some of them are expensive as hell, you can try the demos and see what they offer, each and everyone of them.
I'll leave you to do research if you want, but take note that this is just a suggestion and you don't have to listen to anything I am saying. Also, do tell me if I'm missing the point of what you're trying to create.
Yeah, this was mainly an experimental track that I started on and couldn't really stop. There isn't much atmosphere or ambiance because I don't really know how to do that, especially with just the plain NES (without getting into using samples, and I'd rather not do that.) I could probably add something extra if I were to add an expansion chip, but that's something I didn't really want to do, since I use them so much. That's also why the bass is sorta plain, it's the standard NES triangle (which also doubles as the drums, dunno if you can tell.)
About "actual" DAWs, I do have an FL Demo, but I never really use it, it's just not really my thing, dunno why.
Thanks anyways, even if I guess I kinda mislead you with the title.
