Okay, so before I say anything I would like to let you know that i'm not completely sure this is drumstep, I have the tempo set to 170, which I think is drumstep but I'm not entirely sure. Any clarification would be nice. The beginning is also a little strange because I have yet to figure out how I want to build it.

So this is what I've been working on the past week, and at first it was going to be ambiance, bu then I got a great that I could make this into a nice drumstep song. I think the pads fit nicely with what I'm trying to go for. What am I trying to go for? More or less a nice, chill, and sort of relaxing? sounding drumstep track, so a decent bass/growl/ whatever, and a decent chord to go along with it. I 'm not entirely sure what drumstep consists of, but I wanted to try something different this time instead of just random stuff. The flow is a little off too since I'm not entirely sure what I want to do for the build, but the drop is pretty much set, I think it's pretty decent, even if it's only 5 seconds, but that's as far as I wanted to go with it.

I tried to go a little more into sound design and bass production in this, and instead of some complex shit, I made it surprisingly simple. I've never really got much into ambiance, but I think with this I learned one or two things about making it.

Some notes:
1. Does this sound like a drumstep? I've listened to drumstep and I think I got it but i'm not entirely sure.
2. How's the ambiance part? is it alright? What do the pads sound like to you? Relaxing? Sad? Scary? Depressing?
3. How's the five second drop? Does it sound like i'm going anywhere?
4. Does it flow alright? Is there rhythm? One of the things I struggle with is creating a decent rhythm, so feedback on that would be nice.
5. Anything sound weird? Definitely can't have anything that sounds weird.
