First time making full use of Adagio!

Specific things:
1. First things first. Did you like it? I find it helpful to ask.
2. The percussion is just default Kontakt stuff, I'm afraid. So there's a huge difference in quality between those and the strings.
3. It's supposed to be a clarinet instead of an oboe, but for some reason the patches won't load (even though they work just fine in standalone Kontakt). I'm getting the "this was generated with a more recent version of Kontakt) error. My guess is it's something to do with the batch resaving I did earlier because I checked and it's definitely the latest version of the program.
4. It's not as expressive as it could be as I still have to tweak the automation and maybe select some more suitable patches. Adagio is huge so knowing what patches to use and where is tricky. It doesn't help that they take all up a ton of RAM, either.

EDIT: Changed the title very slightly.

I'm quite enjoying it :3

The introduction initially sounded a little strange to me. I think that those subtle bassy notes (the Cello? Sorry i'm not the greatest at identifying orchestral instruments... I'm slowly getting there though!) could be boosted in volume a bit more. I don't know if it's just me, but on the first couple listens it seemed just a little too subtle.

I personally would have used a flute or something similar as the lead instrument to make it sound more night/star themed (I want to say make it sound more purple but i'm colourblind and the colour purple kinda confuses me to look at so I could also say "dark blue" or something else similar to the night sky even though i desperately want to say purple because that's what it sounds like when I imagine a flute in it instead. Sorry i've gone a little weird here back to actual things now). Yeah, to me I can imagine a flute possibly sounding rather nice in this, either as a solo lead or sharing the role with the oboe that's supposed to be a clarinet... Maybe if it swaps parts with the oboe which is supposed to be a clarinet at some parts and maybe doubling up on each other to play a nice melody and counter melody in some places and at the end... But that's all just me thinking and rambling on what i'd do and my personal preference and it's your composition and it's completely up to you and i'm just rambling so yeah c:

The cymbals and percussion do sound kinda lower in quality but you already recognise that and all and im not much of a percussionist so lets just keep moving...

Your right in that it could be a bit more expressive, too. Looking forward to how it'll sound once tweaked.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a new WIP:

It should sound smoother now and I tried to make the percussion blend in better. Also, good news! I managed to solve the clarinet problem. Turns out standalone Kontakt was the correct version but the plug-in wasn't. All I had to do was re-copy and paste the .dll file and it worked! I guess that shows me for not checking something so simple from the beginning.

Anyway, think it's ready for prime time? I'd like to be finished with this soon.
