So this song is based on Simple Ways (Season 4, Episode 13):

This is the first time I've tried producing Reggae and, to my knowlege, I haven't heard any other Brony Reggae songs yet.

I feel like you have a good understanding of the style. Bass and drum parts sound good.

The guitar sounds a little off to me, maybe it's the effects (sounds like chorus) or the reverb, but the guitar sounds a little too "wet" for reggae. Listen to some Marley songs and you'll hear how accented, short, and crisp the guitar upbeats are. Other than that it's pretty solid. (steel drums make me happy )

I also liked the vocals and lyrics, it sounds like you had fun making this and I am looking forward to hearing more pony reggae in the future, there is not nearly as much as there should be.

Wasn't expecting pony reggae XD! It's actually pretty good. Yeah I also think the guitar could use some work. The bass composition is good but I'm not feeling the sound design. Is it a soundfont? Unless you can find a really good soundfont/vst, I think a synth bass would be better. They provide more options and versatility.

Other then that good work. I also want to hear more pony reggae XD!

Yeah... Recently all my good soundfonts got wiped, and I couldn't remember where I originally got them from.
Though, I'd actually played with a guitar, then transferred the note data to MIDI (with Melodyne), and put that as a soundfont, which is why it has a more human rhythm to it.

In retrospect, yeah. You're right. I've been noticing a lot more reggae around the place after releasing this track, and I see what you mean.
