So I've been toying about some new influences lately and it's starting to take shape. Very X-RX and early Noisuf-X, I feel. So far, I'm missing the melody for the Chorus (it's supposed to fit in there someplace) and something for a bridge inbetween stuff. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them, as this is a change of scenery for me.

I'm also thinking of some more/different samples, but having a bit of trouble due to the BGM of the FiW episodes. Does anyone have any pure vocal stems with Sweetie Bot?

Okay I'm really enjoying this so far! The initial bassline is really interesting, and I like the little glitches and scream sounds in the background. Loving the hard kick as well!
I think the snare lacks punch, but it works well as an offbeat hit to give some rhythm. Also the middle section from about 1:30 becomes a little bit repetitive, but not so much that it's derogatory to the track.
I think the vocals would also sound unique if you tuned them to fit the key of the track at some points to give them a more carrying musical element.
Overall I'm really liking the track man; looking forward to hearing the full version!

Hey, thanks for your feedback!

I agree, it's a bit repetitive right now, I'm missing at least one layer to create a chorus. Also, there's going to be vocals in two forms here, to give it some changeups.

The snare issue is something I could look at. Perhaps compressing it slightly, EQ'ing it a bit different or do a different sound altogether. It's heavily distorted, so the hard punch is lacking a bit.

I've been adding and removing and changing things a bit now. I'm pretty much done with the instrumental, and plan on recording vocals when my lyrics are written.

Vocals have been added

I've been thinking of doing *something* with the EQ's and compression on the channels, but I'm not sure where I should start. Any suggestions?

And it is done. I think with the tools at hand and the skills I've currently got, this is as good as it could get. Hope you'll enjoy it!
